Exclusive: Sourav Ganguly eyeing stake in IPL team


Former Indian cricket captain and Cricket Association of Bengal President Sourav Ganguly is planning to pick up a stake in an Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, a person privy to the development told VCCircle. The 44-year-old also co-owns Atletico de Kolkata, a team of the Indian Super League – a football tourney along the lines of the cash-rich Twenty20 cricket league – along with Sanjiv Goenka, the chairman of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group.
