Exclusive: WestBridge pockets smart returns from industrials portfolio

Private equity firm WestBridge Capital has once again pushed the exit button on one of its fairly young portfolio companies in the listed space, a year and a half after first making a partial exit from it. The PE firm, which invests through both direct secondary market purchases and negotiated preferential allotment deals as also selective private companies, runs a private investment in public equities (PIPE) focused fund. Its WestBridge Crossover Fund has built a significant portfolio in the industrials space, followed by financial services and consumer discretionary sectors.
