Nissan Motor challenges tribunal order in Supreme Court 


The Indian unit of Japan’s Nissan Motor Company has approached the Supreme Court against an order of the Competition Appellate Tribunal that held the carmaker guilty of adopting anti-competitive practices in the market for spare parts, said two people familiar with the development. The tribunal had in December upheld the Competition Commission of India’s (CCI) ruling that Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd as well as Ford India Pvt Ltd and Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd indulged in monopolistic practices in the spare parts market.
