In charts: How a few states are outdoing the Centre in implementing key projects

A few Indian states seem to be outpacing the Centre when it comes to spending on and implementing key infrastructure projects. At least that is what a recent report by Deutsche Bank reveals. According to the report released earlier this month, Indian states together spent twice as much money on projects between April and December 2016, compared with the same period during the previous year. State governments spent Rs 6,6870 crore on projects in the second half of 2016, up from Rs 3,2730 crore during the year-ago period.
